Last offseason, we asked, Does anyone object to having a Mascot at this Wedding? since we saw Goldy the Gopher at a wedding. We created a spreadsheet with all the mascot costs and broke it down conference by conference.

Now, we’re back again with a partnership with FOIAball, and we asked a question about which mascots were booked the most and what the mascots were booked for, and we also updated rates of some of the mascots we couldn’t get wedding prices for previously and ones that have changed.

Here is the link to the FOIAball article with more information on the booking fee totals for all the mascots.

As a bonus, we made some fancy graphics and will be putting them up on our various social media accounts. I think we personally added about 40 more schools with information on getting a mascot to your future wedding.

Updated Mascot costs for Weddings!

Likewise, I want you to keep in mind these are costs for the costumed mascot and not the live mascots some teams have (ex. Reveille, BEVO and the actual Mike the actual live Tiger).

Another thing: there are additional charges pending your request for the mascot at the wedding or another event; we cannot predict those costs; these are just the general rates we uncovered and displayed on their websites. Different events have different costs on the forms too, but we just did weddings. Also, some schools don’t publicly display their rates, so we actually emailed them this time, unlike last time, when we didn’t want to bother them. We got some responses for this too, and some we are still pending a response.

As a bonus, we attempted to find out some mascot rates for Division I schools that don’t have football and some schools that are in FCS Football too!

Finally, please don’t yell at the schools, saying the Sickos Committee said it was this cost, as we don’t know all the details of your potential event, and we really don’t like getting yelled at by anyone.
