Upcoming Things on the Sickos Substack.

Hello all Committee Substack subscribers!

Commish here. This week, I fell a little bit behind blogging for the Substack due to my little one turning one year old (hooray!) and the birthday party along with a visit from the in-laws this past weekend. I want to try to keep a schedule on writing here but it just didn’t work out, so my apologies. Also, this is still a bit of a hobby for myself and the rest of the committee. If this was our full time job, I’d be cranking these out much faster.

On top of this, I wanted to provide you with an update this week and provide you some upcoming things on our Substack.

We’re going to continue our series for the Best Season of All Time For Schools Who Stopped Having A Football Team aka the BSOATFSWSHAFT. Oh boy, do we have plenty of schools to cover here. Also, thank some of you for submitting some information on your own schools too! I found that really cool of y’all! I appreciate all the feedback here, whether it is a like or comment or you emailing me stuff. It’s awesome!

Also, I’m working on a series called the Prairie View Chronicles with a fellow committee member, Blu. We’re going to do a deep dive into the history of the longest NCAA losing streak ever recorded. We will highlight the key players who caused the downfall of a once great football program. We’re going to examine their record breaking 80 game losing streak and dissect the factors that caused their self imposed death penalty. Then follow it up through the program’s reemergence through 2009. It’s got intrigue, embezzlement, felonies, grand juries and much more!

The Prairie View Chronicles will likely be in written and will have an accompanying podcast from behind our paywall here. We plan to have this be about a 5 or 6 podcast series over the off-season. Upgrade to paid if you’d like whenever it comes out.
