In partnership with

Welcome back to the Sickos Stats Summary!

If you missed this last year and the explainer, this year at the Sickos Sentinel, we’re going to bring you something called the Sickos Stats Summary. It’s basically going to be weird stats on different things we found that we don’t think get a lot of attention. We will make some graphics every week and try to give you a few amounts of stats that are unconventionally appealing or things that don’t get highlighted much.

Do I know how many stats will be in each weekly post? Nope.

The Sickos Stats Summary

SAFETY ALERTS FOR GAMES INVOLVING DIVISION I TEAMS

In 2024, we started tracking records of people who scored a safety on their opponent. Last year teams who scored a safety were 58-29 on the year. A winning percentage of .666%. So, we wanted to track them again.

We had 9 safeties in Week 1.

Safety Alerts

  • Sacred Heart - Who led 2-0 in the 3rd Quarter with this Score which was their first of the season and won 12-7

  • Prairie View - who used their safety to win 22-21 over rival Texas Southern

  • Wofford - lost by 1 after their safety 16-15.

  • McKendree - who “earned” the safety after Indiana State snapped the ball over the head of the punter but lost 4

  • Michigan State - win a nice win over an in-state Western Michigan.

  • Toledo - lost but got a sack for 7-2 score but lost to Kentucky

  • McNeese - a mystery safety on Louisiana College and I cannot find video.

  • Virginia Tech - We all saw this safety but the HOkies couldn’t pull off the victory.

  • Maryland - a beautiful pass rush for a safety.

Total Record with scoring a safety this week was 5-4. A mixed bag this week for sure.

Also, we could have had a 10th safety but the Alcorn State punter whiffed on the kick away for a safety resulting in a scoop and score for Northwestern State.

ALCORN SNAP GOES OVER THE PUNTERS HEAD AND THE DEMONS SCOOP AND SCORE Northwestern State looking to end long losing streak.

LONGEST SCORING DRIVE OF THE WEEK - TIME OF POSSESSION

So BYU was taking it to Portland State and up 62-0. Then the Cougars decided to finish this game in a nice way. A 15 play, 79 yard drive for a total of 10 minutes and 21 seconds.

Nice

LONGEST NON-SCORING DRIVE OF THE WEEK - TIME OF POSSESSION

The Gophers were up 23-10 on the feisty Bulls led by Coach Pete LembUFFALo. Minnesota said lets end the game. They embarked on an amazing 16 play, 58 yard drive and killed the remaining 9:45 left on the clock to seal the game. Imagines Goldy the Gopher putting you in a sleeper hold.

LONGEST PUNT OF THE WEEK

Shout out to Angus Davies of Tulsa. I originally thought this was a 90 yard punt but had to correct the error since they measure from the line of scrimmage and I got too excited. Nonetheless, congrats Angus on this BOOT.

Congrats Angus!!

This wraps up Week 1 of the Sickos Stats Summary!!

The Key to a $1.3 Trillion Opportunity

A new trend in real estate is making the most expensive properties obtainable. It’s called co-ownership, and it’s revolutionizing the $1.3T vacation home market.

The company leading the trend? Pacaso. Created by the founder behind a $120M prior exit, Pacaso turns underutilized luxury properties into fully-managed assets and makes them accessible to the broadest possible market.

The result? More than $1B in transactions and service fees, 2,000+ happy homeowners, and over $110m in gross profit to date for Pacaso.

With rapid international growth and 41% gross profit growth last year alone, Pacaso is hitting their stride. They even recently reserved the Nasdaq ticker PCSO.

The same VCs that backed Uber, eBay, and Venmo also backed Pacaso. Join them as a Pacaso shareholder before the opportunity ends September 18.

Paid advertisement for Pacaso’s Regulation A offering. Read the offering circular at invest.pacaso.com. Reserving a ticker symbol is not a guarantee that the company will go public. Listing on the NASDAQ is subject to approvals.
