Welcome to the Sickos Committee’s Weather, Travel & Football Master Almanac Network aka the SCWTFMAN.

Here at the SCWTFMAN we will attempt to forecast the upcoming 2024 college football season by using our Sickos Committee alert system. We’re going to do this in the Famer’s Almanac style. If you don’t know what a Farmers' Almanac is, basically it provides long-range weather predictions for both the U.S. and Canada. We will be applying our forecast to all of Division I in the United States. We’re trying to predict what the upcoming season holds for all Division I teams in college football using our Sickos Committee Weather Alert System.

Will these previews be long winded and incredibly in depth? No. 

Will these previews be mostly based on “vibes” as assessed by the Sickos Committee weather forecasters? Yes. 

Basically, we’re going to try to assess the team as a Sickos Warning, Watch or Advisory, give you their record last year, provide a little blurb about the team and interesting schedule tidbits. This year we’re also adding a conference specific thing.

Notre Dame

Final FBS Sickos Poll Ranking: 101st

Anything New? New Offensive Coordinator Mike Denbrock heads back to Notre Dame from LSU.  New transfer QB Riley Leonard from Duke.

Sickos Forecast:  Advisory - They will likely be a fringe CFP team and we don’t expect too many ups and downs. The Shamrock series jerseys are very bevel-y and shiny.

Potential Sickos Game(s): they start at Kyle Field against Texas A&M and have a big game against Florida State. However, you are looking for Sickos potential, they welcome Louisville at the end of September and at Georgia Tech in mid-October could be interesting. Who knows what that final game at USC could be like.

Sickos Forecast:  Warning - It’s UConn, a feisty underdog on a mission to get to a bowl game as an independent. Always a fun ride to watch this team.

Potential Sickos Game(s): Just going to put the entire schedule here cause it goes Away, Home, Away, SIX STRAIGHT AT HOME, THREE STRAIGHT ON THE ROAD for the year. Also, they play all the Owls of the American Conference. Next year please add Kennesaw State to complete the Owl Gauntlet.

Sickos Forecast:  Warning - It’s UMass, a feisty underdog on a mission to get to a bowl game as an independent. They join the MAC next year and that’ll will be a different kind of fun.

Potential Sickos Game(s): Just going to put the entire schedule here cause it’s basically like they are in the MAC already. They open with five out of six games against future conference teams. Then they welcome MIZZOU to AMHESRT on October 12th. They play at Georgia then play at home against their rival UConn to end the season. Oh boy UMass why???
